Transhumanism

After weeks of researching, reading and writing for my two take-home final exams, I became very visually attracted to epistemological terms.  While massively reading about cybernetics, systems engineering, and simulation modeling, I came across the word, which I’ve never heard of before, transhumanism.  It also came up in one of  The Critical Thinker podcast episodes (by Kevin deLaplante) I was listening to on my way home from work one day.  The Wikipedia defines transhumanism as, “an international intellectual and cultural movement that affirms the possibility and desirability of fundamentally transforming the human condition by developing and making widely available technologies to eliminate aging and to greatly enhance human intellectual, physical, and psychological capacities.”

Are we really prepared to go into post-human age?!
